| Nissan has announced revised pricing for its Pathfinder 4x4 and changes to trim levels. The Pathfinder S trim is now called Trek and comes with the same equipment level as before - four-wheel drive, ESP, ABS, driver passenger and curtain airbags, 17" alloys, electric mirrors, five seats, dual-zone climate control, CD/radio. The price is cut from £24,500 to £22,995. The SE trim has been renamed Sport (the SVE trim has been dropped from the range) and gets the same kit as previously - including roof bars, tinted rear windows, front fogs, chrome grille, seven seats, leather steering wheel and gear knob, six-CD multichanger: however, it also gets the Technology Pack (£2,000-worth of options) fitted for free, which adds DVD sat nav, colour reversing camera, Bluetooth, voice control, cruise control, auto lights and wipers and an intelligent key. The prices also drop from £26,300 to £25,595 (manual) and £27,600 to £26,895 (auto). Both the Sport and the Trek are only available with the 2.5-litre dCi engine, generating 171bhp and 297lb-ft of torque. The top trim level is changed from T-Spec to Aventura and comes with the same spec levels as before - bi-xenon lights, sunroof, Technology Pack, leather seats, heated electric front seats, side steps, and rear air con controls. Prices have been cut from £31,160 to £28,595 (manual diesel), £32,460 to £28,895 (auto diesel) and, for the 4.0 V6, from £33,960 to £30,895. Channel 4 News
